Hi, my name is Oscar, I study CADD Technology, and I need to buy a laptop for school, I bought one last semester but I have some problems with Revit 2013, SolidWorks 2012 and Autocad 3D.
Let me sxplain what my problems are. Solidworks: when I make a long helix, the program is slow, also if I make an assembly with a lot of components and I try to make a motion study, it is slow too. Revit: When I use realistic view it is slow (I know this option needs a lot of power), Autocad 3D: when try to rotate the view of a 3D model, the program is slow, etc.
Could you please let me know what kind of grahics card should the laptop has, I was thinking to buy a gamming laptop (Alienware) because those Laptops have a lot of power,
Also I would like to know what other thing I have to considerer before buy a new laptop, like: memory, processor etc, I know a good laptop means more money, but at least I can be sure my machine will work good enough.
I really appreciate your help.
Merry Cristmass and regards
