Hello,

I hope this email finds you well! My name is Sam Bowling and I’m an infrastructure engineer at SingleHop, a pioneer in cloud computing. I wanted to reach out to you regarding an infographic I’ve recently put together that offers some useful information regarding business downtime and disaster recovery.

Included within the infographic is information regarding some different types of technology disasters that can occur, some shocking stats about the results of business downtime, and most importantly, a step-by-step process for implementing a proper recovery strategy. Take a moment to check it out at http://www.singlehop.com/blog/infographic-disaster-recovery.

I would encourage you to share this with your readers and invite you to add your own insights to it as well -- Why do you feel that having a Disaster Recovery Plan is important/not important? Have you ever experienced business downtime or a business disaster?

Thanks for your time in advance and hopefully we can work together here. I look forward to hearing what you think.

Best,

Sam

I am looking for a "good, better, best" in purchasing a new laptop to run Auto CAD 2014 Factory Design Suite Premium.

Any recommendations for a budget of $1,000.00, $2,000.00, and $3,000.00?

Since it is for business purposes, I need this equipment to last a minimum of three years with out costly upgrades or a significant decreased in performance.

Hi there!

Autodesk created an infographic about 3D product design software that I thought you may be interested in. It highlights the money loss companies suffer from each year, due to rejections on product patents submissions and also products recalls (Average $9,364,401,650 in 2011). It also emphasizes one of the many advantages of 3D software which is limiting design mistakes, and therefore limiting investments loss.
These numbers were carefully pulled from government organizations and associations official reports. Here's the link: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=21212177
If you think this could be of interest for your readers, would you mind sharing it?
Thanks,
Jaime

I wonder if you might agree to discuss a bit with me in via email in regards to the CADALYST Systems Benchmark 2012?

Also, can you forward me the free CAD Workstation Resource Guide? The link appears to be broken.

Dear CAD Speed team,

I am Emily from Cometdocs. Given that your blog often features AutoCAD tips, I am writing to inquire about a possible mention for our free AutoCAD tool.

As you probably know, CAD drawings are increasingly being shared as PDFs for reasons of security and convenience, but editing and extracting elements from them is very difficult or even impossible in some cases. Conversion is often the only solution. Our tool offers free PDF to DWG and DXF conversion for AutoCAD-designed PDFs and it is well established on the market: http://www.convertpdftoautocad.com/

Some of its distinct features are:
- High quality conversions with lines, arcs, scale presets and texts preserved, and no need for further touch-ups.
- Files of up to 40MB can be uploaded and converted quickly.
- All uploaded user data, including emails, is deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
- Everything is free - we support ourselves via ads on the homepage (please, don’t be confused by them).

Would you be open to introducing this tool to your readers? Assuming, of course, that you think it is a good tool and worthy of a mention.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you very much for your time and keep up the excellent work.

Best regards,

Emily Donalds
